A P A S A — G R A P H I C S
PROJECT
APASA is USC's Asian Pacific American Student Assembly, an umbrella organization for 25 other APA orgs on campus. Hosted under the programming branch of USG (USC's Undergraduate Student Government), APASA hosts monthly events geared towards celebrating APA culture and heritage, and funds the events for each member organization.
As the Graphics Director of APASA, I was responsible for crafting a new style for APASA's social media presence, which successfully gathered over 4,000+ students to our events. Specifically, in charge of creating promotional graphics for each of our events, which would run on various social medias (Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat) and also be posted around campus in the form of physical print flyers, as well as promotional goods such as stickers, tumblers, reusable straws, etc. I also started my own project titled "Get to Know APASA", a daily highlight on APASA's Instagram story in order for USC's community to learn more about our board members and view them as individuals they could befriend rather than a large, unapproachable organization.
