F A P F A — L O G O
PROJECT
FAPFA is the national Journalism Education Association (JEA)'s First Amendment Press Freedom Award, an annual award given to high school publications that actively honors and supports the First Amendment through its media and coverage.
As the graphic designer for the FAPFA, I was commissioned to create the new logo that would be utilized on JEA's website, promotional goods, and printed on the award certificate. In order to make the logo streamline and adaptable for each year, I focused on creating a typography based design with easily editable text. The gradient of red and purple was chosen to closely resemble the JEA's logo and style guide.
